After reviewing this list, I was surprised by some of the results. I knew that Starbucks and Whole Foods were fairly "green" and sustainable, but I was surprised to see that Intel topped the charts. Kohl's is another one that I was completely unaware of the measures they take to become sustainable. TD Bank I had never heard of but I thought it was interesting that they use completely LEED certified buildings. All of these different companies has their own set initiatives on how to make their company more sustainable, reduce their waste, and be better on the environment for future years. Every company has room for improvement and these ones which are the top 10 greenest companies in America are improving and other companies should use these as examples to follow. I also was unaware of the alternate sources of energy that each company uses since I feel like this is never advertised for specific companies.
